Aussie Rescue San Diego & Friends is able to help so many dogs thanks to our small group of dedicated volunteers. Whether they are helping at adoption events or on the ranch, there is always something for everyone. We love making a difference for these animals & we could not do it without our volunteers.

Our volunteers love hands-on ranch days! Together we help make the ranch a safer and happier place for everyone. Interested in getting involved on the ranch? We need volunteers to exercise dogs, socialize shy dogs, and help with property maintenance.

Our volunteers love adoption events! Do you love working with dogs? Enjoy educating people?

At our adoption events we always need help with:  

     - Setting up for adoptions
     - Introducing adoptable dogs to the public
     -Answering questions and educating people so they may find their perfect match!

Craigslist and/or Animal Shelter Website Monitors - Tasks include finding dogs in need, gathering information, and communicating to get them help. Craigslist Monitors will be given a specific area. Shelter Website Monitors will be assigned to a specific shelter. Checking can be done a few times a week, although daily would be ideal. 
 
Donation Letter Writers - Responsibilities include researching potential donors, writing donation request letters, and following-up. We are always in need of good writers who can help us seek out and capitalize on funding opportunities.
